インターネット掲示板は社会にとって有益である。しかも利用者が多いほど有益性が増す。
利用者を増やすには、書込みが自由でなければならない。そのためには、匿名掲示板にするのが一番いい。
しかしそうすると、中傷やデマ、差別などの質の低い情報や、プライバシーの侵害、イタズラなどが跋扈することになる。それはやがて本当に有益な情報を持つ人々を遠ざけることになってしまう。
そして、特有の用語や文脈が理解できる常連ばかりが残り、事実上閉鎖的なサークルができてしまったりする。
日本最大の匿名掲示板である「２ちゃんねる」のこのような問題を見て、それに対抗して、管理者によるある程度の規制が入る掲示板を立ち上げた例も見られる。
しかし、それは自由掲示板の長所を弱めることになりかねない。
そこで次のような方法はどうか。
自動翻訳ソフトを使って、書き込んだ文章を数カ国語に翻訳することにする。そしてその結果を、元の言語を含む各言語に互いに再翻訳し、さらにそれを繰り返す。そして、全言語で文面が変化しなくなった時点で、それがウェブ上にアップできることにする。自動的にこのような作業をする機能をつけた掲示板を開発すれば良い。
この場合、「○○人は豚です」といったような、実も蓋もない中傷文はさすがに防げないかもしれないが、ひねりのある最も悪質な悪口は最初から翻訳できないことにより、機械的に排除される。
何よりも、世界中から情報が集まる利便性は大きいと思われる。
しかし、以上の文を自動翻訳にかけてみたら、まだまだ結構ひどい。文面の収束どころではないわ。

Looking at such problems of "Nichanneru" that is the greatest anonymity BBS in Japan, some examples which started the bulletin board containing a certain amount of regulation by the administrator are also seen against it. However, it may weaken the strong point of a free bulletin board.
Then, how are the following methods?
The written-in text will be translated into several languages using automatic translation software. And the result is mutually re-translated into each language including the original language, and it is repeated further. And when purport of a letter will not change in all languages, it will be able to rise on a web. What is necessary is just to develop the bulletin board which attached the function which does such work automatically.
In this case, although the simplest slander sentence like "....people are pigs" may be unable to be prevented, the most wicked slander with some twists is mechanically eliminated by the inability of translating from the beginning. It is thought that the convenience for which information gathers out of the world is larger than anything.
